A  graduate of the Interior Design program at the Toronto International Academy of Design and Technology, Lisa Sontacchi holds a diploma in Interior Design. During her studies she interned at one of Toronto's top interior design firms and worked part time at a local fabric retailer as a drapery consultant. Post studies Lisa went on to pursue her design career starting out as a kitchen and bath designer at a big box retailer and then as a junior designer at a custom kitchen, bath and millwork company. During her 8 years as a custom millwork designer, Lisa worked on outside consulting projects of her own as a part-time  freelance designer. In 2015 Lisa decided to pursue her dreams of being an entrepreneur doing what she loved, thus Sontacchi Design was born.  

A passionate designer, who is dedicated to creating stunning interiors that reflect the personalities of the people who live in them. Lisa's ability to identify with her clients, and their needs for each space is what sets her apart. Lisa’s design style, is best described as a well balanced mix of contemporary and transitional. She focuses on line, form, proportions, and adds the embellishments when needed. Lisa's unique design style shows through in each space, with her use of tone on tone, high contrast, metals, textures, and natural elements. 

Her simple and sophisticated  style keeps each space she designs fresh and timeless.
